I want, so much
for you to see me.
But I’m scared you’ll see
right through the layers
so carefully constructed to hide
all that remains to be seen.
Because when you truly see me
and discover what lies beyond this face
I’m afraid I’ll find my darkest space
through knowing eyes
who’ve seen the whole
of a truth I can’t be facing.
Yet it’s only when you see me
That I’ll ever really know
The path I’m meant to go
And whether there’s something actually hidden
Or if all I am is just
Empty.
Nicely done!

This is so well-written and beautifully expressed:
“Yet it’s only when you see me
That I’ll ever really know
The path I’m meant to go
And whether there’s something actually hidden
Or if all I am is just
Empty.”

Difficult to imagine anything less empty than a heart that pulls out words like these.

I like your style of writing in this – nothing forced or contrived to me – it seems as if your words come to you quite naturally.

Sometimes we can’t help but feel empty and that’s okay. Life is cray cray but you my lady are not empty. Not in the least!

This poem made me think. I would love if you could write a poem replying. I would love it was from someone who loves her, and sees her insecurity but loves her completely. It would be so neat I think I think if it touched on how hard we can judge ourselves. Hugs! – David

Whether this is simple prose or a piece of the real you, the answer is the same. Take the chance. You will never know unless you try.

Emptiness it’s about perception of thinking for example empty glass some people say Hollow cylinder ,some says half empty ,some say well ,some say ring or circle like tank etc it’s totally depends upon perception 🤔🤔
